FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Sleep well, eat something before your appointment, and drink water. Don’t come hungover, don’t skip meals, and wear something comfortable that gives me easy access to the area we’re tattooing. I do have water, tea, coffe and snacks for you — chill and enjoy the process.

  • You don’t need to have it all figured out right away. What matters most is that your tattoo means something to you.

I usually suggest checking out some ideas on Pinterest or Instagram to see what styles and themes you’re drawn to. Think about what’s important in your life — your interests, meaningful experiences, favourite movies, books, games, or anything that really feels like you.

Once you’ve got a few ideas, we can chat and shape it into something unique together

  • You’ll get clear aftercare instructions from me. In short: keep it clean, don’t soak it, don’t scratch it, and don’t tan it while it’s healing. Moisturize with something gentle, and if you’re not sure about anything, just text me a photo — I’ll tell you if it’s normal or not.

  • I take pretty much any form of payment! You can pay cash, tap with your phone, use a credit card, or send an e-transfer.

  • Absolutely! It needs to be applied 1 hour before the appointment and usually lasts for up to 3 hours. Here are the directions:1. Shave the area.2. Wipe it with alcohol.3. Apply a thick layer of cream to an area no larger than 5”×5” — I’ll apply the rest at the shop.4. Cover it tightly with Saniwrap. Do not rub.

  • There’s no one-price-fits-all answer. It really depends on the size, placement, and how detailed the design is. Once you show me your idea, I can give you a rough estimate

  • That depends on your design, skin type, and how well you sit through the session. Some tattoos are done in a couple of hours, others take a few sittings. I’ll always be upfront about timing — no surprises

  • The pain is totally manageable — most people describe it as annoying rather than unbearable. Some spots sting more (ribs, inner arm, etc.), but we can always take breaks if you need. Or we can use a numbing cream - I suggest to apply it at home 1h before an appointment

  • Of course! Bring anything that helps me understand your vision — sketches, photos, Pinterest boards, whatever. I won’t copy someone else’s tattoo exactly, but I’ll create something custom that fits you. If you want a copy-paste job, I’m probably not your artist.

  • Small tweaks are fine — that’s part of the process. But if you change your mind completely after I’ve already drawn the whole thing, I’ll need to charge for the extra design time. It’s just about respecting both of our time.

  • Yes, and I actually love doing them. It’s like giving people a fresh start. But be realistic: not everything can be fully erased. Sometimes we have to work with the old tattoo, not against it. I’ll tell you honestly what’s possible and what’s not — no sugarcoating

  • All tattoos age. That’s normal. Sun, skin, and time affect the ink. I use high-quality pigments and do my best to make designs that age well, but taking care of your tattoo (especially avoiding sunburns) makes a huge difference.

  • That’s totally fine — most people are before their first tattoo. I’ll walk you through everything before we start. Once the machine buzzes and the first lines are in, you’ll calm down. Promise.

  • That’s why we take time to plan it before we start. You’ll always see the design and placement first. But if you ever feel unsure during the process — say it. We’ll stop and fix it right away. I care way more about you loving it than about “just finishing”
